You can turn your catch into a summer meal celebration by making this simple fish taco recipe, which includes fresh pineapple salsa and a tasty citrus marinade. Making a healthy fish taco recipe isn’t hard, all you have to do is marinate, grill, fill the tortillas, and enjoy.

Use these instructions to make the best fish tacos for a delicious and quick weeknight summer meal.

Easy Fish Taco Recipe Ingredients:

 
  • 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
  • 1 1/2 pounds white flaky fish (such as snapper or mahi mahi/dolphinfish)
  • 1/3 cup +1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, juiced and the zest from one lime
  • 8 to 10 soft corn tortillas
  • 2 cups chopped pineapple
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 small jalapeno, chopped
  • Pinch of salt

Fish Taco Recipe Preparation Instructions:

 
  1. To make the marinade for these easy fish tacos, combine 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup cilantro, lime juice, lime zest and seafood seasonings in a gallon storage bag. Place fish in bag and seal. Let the fish marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the grill to medium-high. Remove fish from marinade and grill for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Once done, remove fish from grill and let sit for a few minutes, and then flake with a fork.

How to Make the Salsa:

 
  • 1. In a medium-size bowl, combine pineapple, red onion, red pepper, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/3 cup cilantro, jalapeno and salt, and then gently toss together. For best flavor, prepare the salsa a few hours in advance and allow it to sit in the refrigerator before serving.

How to Make Fish Tacos:

  • 1. Grill tortillas for about 30 seconds per side until warm.
  • 2. Top or fill tortillas with grilled fish and pineapple salsa to complete this easy fish taco recipe. You can also drizzle a fish taco sauce on top by mixing avocado, Greek yogurt, and cilantro in a food processor.
