2017 Winter Boat Shows - Take Me Fishing

Buying a new boat is a fun and exciting process that should begin by attending a boat show.

Wow, it's tough to believe that the holidays are over and a new year has begun. I frequently checked my driveway throughout the holidays, and oddly enough there wasn't a new boat, motor, and trailer with a big bow. No matter, my family spoiled me rotten, so now I can get on with a new boat search.

Maybe I'll find one, maybe I won't, but I'll certainly check out the new options. I've always enjoyed boat shows. Sure they feature new hulls, new power, state-of-the-art electronics, but I learn a tremendous amount as well. I have a few pesky maintenance issues to solve, and I need to revisit my insurance policy, too. So boat shows aren't just about buying a new vessel. They're about getting the many parts of boat ownership in ship-shape.
