December 2012 State Marketing  Workshop Resources

114 representatives from 47 state agencies, RBFF and its partners and sponsors gathered in Dallas, TX, from December 4-6, 2012 to learn about the importance of marketing and communicating with customers and implementing integrated marketing efforts to increase fishing license sales and boat registrations. Participants heard about RBFF’s Fishing License and Boat Registration Marketing Programs and discussed the importance of implementing customer engagement strategies and providing positive license experiences and convenient resources for anglers and boaters. State agencies shared examples and ideas to help inform the future direction of marketing strategies for 2013 through peer-to-peer discussion.
