To inspire a love of boating and fishing at an early age, the Take Me Fishing™ campaign teamed up with Discovery Education to introduce an exciting new initiative called Explore the Blue. This interactive program and website (ExploretheBlue.com) brings on-the-water experiences to life through cross-curricular lesson plans, printable outdoor activities for the family, and an interactive boating and fishing game called 'Thrill of the Catch.' Dive into a world of adventure for teachers, parents and kids!

Get schooled with lesson plans and multimedia content that uncover the fascinating world of water. Explore the Blue offers educational resources for grades K-2 and 3-5 which include lesson plans for health/physical education, science, social studies, math and language arts.

We bring the outdoors to you! Play interactive games that will tease your brain and test your water wisdom. And get hooked on the online boating and fishing game,Thrill of the Catch, where you can go fishing, create and feed fish, and collect and recycle pollution within the virtual lake.
