The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing participation in fishing, boating and aquatic stewardship.
RBFF's 2015 Annual Report provides a detailed summary on the Foundation's projects and accomplishments during fiscal year 2015. RBFF is committed to executing a well-planned set of activities, one that is both informed by our stakeholders and based on best available research and evaluative information. Our current Strategic Plan encompasses FY 2014 – 2016 (April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2016), and was approved by the RBFF Board of Directors in October 2012 . RBFF’s cooperative agreement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service fulfills the intent of the 1998 Sportfishing and Boating Safety Act by providing financial support to RBFF for implementing and managing the objectives to meet the spirit and intent of the original National Communications Plan developed by the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council. RBFF has signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council, and the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies which fortifies each organization’s role for implementing and managing the objectives to meet the spirit and intent of the original National Communications Plan.
