Which do you prefer: braided or monofilament line?

After resisting braided lines for years I now use them exclusively!

I have always used Mono, But I will admit that I just bought a spool of Braided. Going to try it this fishing season.

it all depends i like braid on my spinners and i like mono on my conventional reels

If I'm using bait, fishing around potential snags, or rubber worms... Mono. If I want a extra casting distance and increased sensitivity... Braid. Might even do a combo with a mono leader.
