One of the best ways to learn more about fishing is from others! Here in the Take Me Fishing Boating & Fishing Community you can do just that. Read weekly blogs written by the pros, share the best fishing spots with fellow anglers on the Places to Boat and Fish Map, discuss how to fish with others in the forum, or find an event to attend with angling families.
All anglers are invited to view posts, photos and hotspots, but to participate, you must be a member. Boating & Fishing Community members also receive a personalized e-newsletter with fishing and boating tips.

What do the funds from your fishing license go towards:
Public Park with a large pond in the southwest corner. Trails, Parking Area, Playground, restrooms, tennis courts, basketball courts...something for the whole family, little bit of a walk to the pond but a concrete pathway for joggers leads right to it. the pond has no water structures and no trees around it but you can easily read the blue gills nests left over from the spawn. Tons of 5~10 inch Bluegill caught mainly on a wooly bugger fly fished on 5wt line 10' 4x leader. no action on bait under a bobber though.

Low-height dam. Heavy boulders below the dam are easily walked across for mid-current fishing. Bass fishing is decent. TONS of carp (many over 18" long). Some catfish likely, but I haven't caught them there yet.

In busy marinas, this is often the case. But it's rarely done without permission....
