Have you ever taken a fishing trip in the winter? Where did you go? Recommendation on campgrounds with boat ramps?

Every winter I take several trips to Elk Creek, a tributary of Lake Erie, and try for steelhead.

It doesn't matter out here in Ca. It does not get all that cold unless one heads up into the mountains. Hence fishing is nice year round...
